Me’Shae Rolling of Syracuse, NY makes history as the first EventPrep® franchisee in New York State and the northeastern U.S. Me’Shae has been in the Special Events, Hospitality and Conference industry for nearly two decades. She earned a Certificate in Meeting & Conference Management from the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Travel Administration at New York University. Me’Shae has diverse experience in event and meeting planning: as Senior Special Events Coordinator with the New York City Office of the Mayor; in the Hospitality ministry at The Brooklyn Tabernacle mega-church; and as the Director of Special Events & Conferences with the Institute for Veterans & Military Families at Syracuse University.
Me’Shae has held the designation of CSEP, or Certified Special Events Professional conferred by the International Lives Events Association (formerly International Special Events Society) and is MWBE-Certified in New York State. She is an ambassador with CenterState CEO—Syracuse’s local Chamber of Commerce—and is a member of the Greater Syracuse Hospitality & Tourism Association. Me’Shae serves on governance boards supporting inclusive entrepreneurship in the Central New York region, and has received recognition and awards for her volunteer contributions to the local community.
Fun fact: Me’Shae’s other passion is teaching financial literacy education. She has been married for 25 years to James Haywood Rolling, Jr., who is a professor and scholar in art education. Me’Shae looks forward to providing a superior customer experience, whether servicing meetings and conferences for ten, 100, or 1,000 attendees.
